🧾 Terms of Service

Effective Date: 31st April 2025.
Welcome to S.O.O Clean Services. By booking a service with us, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms are designed to ensure clarity, quality, and fairness for both parties.

1. Service Agreement

S.O.O Clean Services agrees to provide professional cleaning services as requested by the client. Services may include general cleaning, deep cleaning, end-of-tenancy cleaning, specialist carpet & upholstery cleaning, office or commercial cleaning, or any other custom package as agreed.

2. Booking & Scheduling

  • All bookings are confirmed once a date, time, and service scope have been agreed upon.
  • We reserve the right to request a deposit for large jobs or one-off bookings.
  • Recurring services (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) will be scheduled as agreed and can be changed with reasonable notice.

3. Access to Property

  • Clients must ensure cleaners have access to the property on the day of service (keys, codes, or on-site entry).
  • If access is not possible and the visit is missed, a 50% call-out fee may be charged.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a booking.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Repeated late cancellations may lead to suspension of service.

5. Payments

  • Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed.
  • We accept bank transfers, card payments, or direct debit (for regular clients).
  • Invoices must be settled within 7 days to avoid a late fee.
  • VAT, if applicable, will be stated clearly on your invoice.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

We offer a Two-Part Satisfaction Guarantee:

  1. If you’re unhappy with any aspect of our cleaning, notify us within 24 hours, and we’ll return to fix it at no additional charge.
  2. If you’re still not satisfied, we’ll offer a partial refund or credit toward your next service.

7. Health & Safety

  • All staff are trained, insured, and DBS-checked.
  • We use safe, eco-friendly cleaning products unless specific alternatives are requested.
  • Please inform us of any allergies, sensitivities, or pets in the home before service begins.
  • We do not handle hazardous materials, human waste, pest infestations, or heavy lifting beyond our policy limit.

8. Liability & Insurance

  • While we take the utmost care, accidental damage may occur. Please report any issues within 24 hours.
  • We are fully insured for public liability and damage to property.
  • S.O.O Clean Services is not liable for pre-existing damage or wear and tear (e.g., loose tiles, cracked glass, stained carpets).

9. Client Obligations

By booking our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the property and scope of work
  • Secure valuables or fragile items
  • Treat our staff with respect
  • Pay all agreed charges promptly

10. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel services if:

  • A property is unsafe or unsanitary
  • Aggressive behaviour is displayed
  • Repeated non-payment occurs
  • Terms are violated

12. Changes to Terms

S.O.O Clean Services reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and apply to all future bookings.
